As Global Director of People Development, Ron was a founding member of the People team, a manager of managers and a mentor to his peers. He built the function from a blank page while the business scaled from 100 to 2,000 people across 19 locations, running Performance Management, Learning and Development, Career Architecture and Onboarding, and welcoming over 1,800 new joiners across every region.
What sets his story apart is not the title. It is that he built all of it from nothing, at pace, inside a business that reached a $40bn valuation at its January 2022 Series D and became one of the most valuable fintechs in the world.
Since then he has taken on new HR challenges, learnt agentic engineering and launched two businesses, including People Universe.
